thinking about selling my Volk III's
I've been thinking long and hard about selling my 18" volk III +49 and replacing them with the Dronell Type I 3-Piece 19" wheels.
pics of the dronell type I
what do you fellow owners think about the dronells vs volk? you think i could get $1700 for the Volks with Nitto 225/40/18 (15k miles on 'em)? 1 of the wheels is slightly bent but not enough for me to have sent them out to be repaired...
decisions decisions...

i'm in the same boat as you...get the traditional and trusted japanese wheels, or go with something that's nice looking and BIG but has no rep yet. i'm contemplating getting the dronell br wheels because they resemble my favorite-est wheel...the brabus monoblock IIIs! i have other bigger (and more important) expenses at the moment which is making this decision difficult.
i would definitely repair that wheel so you can make the most money...plus who wants to buy wheels and have to get them repaired before you can put them on?!?!? you can try tru wheel in north hollywood ( www.truwheel.com ). $125 fixes almost every kind of damage. they do a pretty good job. or you can go to wheels america ( www.fixrim.com ) down in stanton, ca. If the treads are still thick and all of the wheels look mint, $1700 should not be a problem.

tough decision, dude.....but I like the PIAA Rozza's more because they're so open. I don't know why, but I always lean more toward wheels that expose the whole brake system....especially ones with cross-drilled or slotted rotors. In any case, they're both pretty hot.....so you'd end up a winner either way.
