Tein vs Comptech?
Considering I have put my TL to rest for the winter :'(
I enjoy reading all the feedback and opinions of all here,
another question I have in terms of suspension is with Springs any difference between Tein and Comptech?
I drive the 04 Ack 6 - speed Dynamic.
I know the suspension is better than the auto, I want to take it to the next level in Spring 05.

My opinion and experience... I have friends with Tein Springs (both Luxury and S-Tech)... they always comment on how much smoother my car feels with the Comptechs, and I agree. If you are just doing springs, I think that Comptech is the clear choice.

Vtec- What type of shocks do you have with your comptechs? I was interested in the TEin Luxuary springs. I'm not all that interested in slamming my TL...just something subtle and a little lower. I know the luxuries lower the cat just a tad bit more then the A-Spec suspension. I thought that if I used the luxuries I wouldn't have to worry about changing the shocks for awhile since it doesn't lower that much. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

I don't have any shocks...I am planning on going to full coilovers or adding dampening adjustable shocks as soon as I have some time... in the begining, the stock shocks are fine, but the dampening adjustable will allow for better performance/ride

Vtec is right, my friend has Comptech on his TL, and it ride pretty smooth, but I would imagine that Tein will be a lil bit stiffer just because it's lower then Comptech and it's still using the stock shocks.

The Teins lower the car 0.6 in front ant 0.7 in the rear...almost the same as the A=Spec however I do not want my car really low and I don't want the ride quality to suffer either. What would be a good set up springs and shocks???? Thanks.
