A fellow TL owner at work was asking me about my coil-overs (I have Megan Racing) because he's looking to lower his car. During the discussion he mentioned he was also looking at TEIN SS & Basic, both of which I've heard about before, but he also mentioned TEIN Street Basis...what's the word on these? Anyone install them on a TL yet?

 

Street Basics is the improved version of the Basics. There's a thread about it.

 

I found a few threads on it (lot of copy>paste from Tein site) and didn't give too much info as far as actual members with any first hand experience with them. Anyways...appreciate the info.

 

I have the SS on my TL. Rides almost like stock. I have an 08 TLS.

 

i had teinSS on my 04 civic and it was great!

def plan to drop tein's on my 07TL soon as i get the $$$!

 

The Street Basis and the TEIN Basics have the same valving and the same spring rates. They just made some improvements to the internal construction and the external case which does not change the ride quality or firmness.
