Tein SS height adjustment for 06 TL
I did all kinds of searching before making this thread wil NO results.
Question: In the Tein SS manual it reads-After install, measure 1 inch from the bottom of the threads and adjust the spring seat to 1 inch. Then tighten the 2 adjustment rings on the threads.
How low will it lower the car? In the Tein SS website it says they can be adjusted from -0.9" to -2.5".
There is NO chart anywhere to show where to adjust the spring seat for minimum lowering of -0.9" ?
I want to lower my car aprox 1 inch.

I have my car set exactly at the recommended level. I have a good feeling they give that spec to have you set you about 1/2 way through the maximal ranges. I would approximate it to be about a 1.5" drop front and 1.2" rear. You are looking for 1" which is a very mild drop to I would say give yourself another .5"-.75" clearance from those Tein values. The check out how it sits. It wasn't low enough for me so I am going to lower the front another .5" more next week. As careful as I am, I have scraped my chin at least 5X, lol.

Thanks.
So you are saying that when I adjust the coil seat rings to the 1" setting in the manual, your car was 1.5" lower front and 1.2" lower rear, correct?
That actually sounds OK. I just doing want to go TOO low.

Well thats the nice part. Even if the initial setting is too low...you can always raise it up until you're happy. Just take off the wheel and adjust. When you're happy with the height get an alignment.

In the TEIN SS manual it prints that it should be 13 inches from the lip of the fenders to the center of the wheel.
I measured what my car is now and the front is 15 INCHES, and the rear is 14.25 INCHES.
SO I guess I will just slam the KHUNT and see how she looks.
