Tein SS Drop

I've been reading where people talk about have finger or fingers worth of gap after installing the Tein SS's.

I set the springs to the recommended 1" thread exposure all around and I do have the specified 13" from the center of the spindle to the fender opening with the car on 18x8 A-Spec wheels.

There is no gap whatsoever. I haven't had a chance to try it yet as I am doing some exhaust changes while I am at it but is this normal for those who have gone this route?

the "finger gap measurement" is just used for preference

should be fine as long as you have the recommended 1" thread exposure and specified 13"

Not a big deal, just curious.

It settled and now my wheels are inside the fenders so I am going to crank it up a bit.

So low, my center muffler dragged on the way out of the garage.

it's that low at the ref 1" setting? i believe that should put you at a drop height of roughly 1.7" (per tein) so that's surprising.

i will be installing mine with a .5" setting and go from there.

oh yeah...pics?

1/4"?...down? up?

either way that looks damn good

do you have a camber kit, or plans to get one? you may not need one if you plan to stay at that level but each car is slightly different.

pic of the whole side of the vehicle would be nice

btw...nice choice on tires...i'm running conti's as well...love 'em

I cranked it up another 1/4". I'm going to get the alignment checked. From there I'll find out if I need a kit.

I'll take some additional pictures. I am embarrassed how dirty it is. It's been in the garage undriven for a month. I am just about done with my work.
