Hey i have a set of tein s techs for my 08 type s. I haven't found anywhere that specifies if they work for the 3.2 tl and 3.5 tl-s. Obviously the 3.5 is going to weigh more so will they still work for the type s? I am confused because there are 2 different choices(type s and non type s) for the 99-03 tl's, but doesnt mention anywhere about type s for the 04 and above. Thanks

 

yes they will work, i have a TL-S and im dropped on S-techs.... Love the drop and the ride is still good. There are some pics in my signature of how it looks....I think only Eibach sells a set that specifically says for Type S, all the other brands you just use the ones for the base 3.2 TL.

 

Are you using stock struts/shocks with those s techs?

 

yes i am, i had all 4 replaced under warranty due to that strut noise, and took my springs to them, so they were installed at no charge. I have about 6k on them since install and car rides great.
