TEIN S-Techs are a great spring: fair amount of lowering, firmer ride, good quality.

Clunking noises are generally due to a bad sway bar end link. Make sure the end link is tight after the spring install. It could also be due to bad shocks. How many miles on your original shocks?

Just installed Tokico HTS and S Tech, and I do have a clunking sound sometimes. I'm trying to figure out why...

Overall, the drop is good. Not too much, but looks good, and is the car is still hella functional in inclement weather/bad roads.

^This picture of your car greatly influenced my decision to buy S-Tech rather than H-Tech.

Just wanted to give you an idea of stockies on S Techs, although I have 20mm spacers installed.

I am using Tokico HTS. The goal of spacers is to help fill out the wheel wells. It's purely cosmetic. I'm not really inclined to buy new wheels with a good offset right now, so I went with Akata spacers to change the look a bit.

thats cool, do you think stock struts will be ok with the s techs?, another question what offset is safe to run with out much rubbing on the rear? i have 19's id like to put on im just gettin them powder coated, they are the same style as the HRE's i think there a little better bcuz they have a 2'' lip and hres are flush

Stock shocks aren't ideal but you should be okay. I've had these springs on my stock shocks for 35k miles with no issues.

How wide are the 19s? What are the offset of the wheels?

Used to have them. Never had any issues with them. Eventually sold them to another member for coilovers because I wanted to go lower.

What kind of shocks are you using? Are you using anything like a koni which lets you drop even more? Or is this only the S-tech springs? Thanks. Looks good. But looks pretty low. Maybe too low.. but it could be just the angle of the pic.

Im on S-Techs with KYB GR-2 Shocks and I love it. Close to stock comfort level with a good drop amount for a daily driver. Allows you plenty of clearance with speed bumps, etc. No 'clunking' at all. Check my pics for another good depiction of what drop looks like.
