gettin ready to do this, 1.2 in front, 1.3 in back
ive had bad experiences with my 03 Type S like blowing struts left and right
but does anyone know if this happens with the 3rd gen?

...it should be fine, its will take awhile for everything to break in and become smooth again

Yes it will. You will have premature wear on the shocks on any car any time you install a spring not matched to that damper for spring rate/valving and operating range.

My suggestion is to upgrade the shocks at the same time, or best case install a complete setup like the Basics or SS.

I bent and cracked the rims i had to get new ones new axels they both seized all the bushings top n bottom on the front end look at all the stuff that i had to get replaced in a thread i posted ....the car handles like a champ dropped super low like that but those spring are soooo not for the car unless its going to be driven to a car show 20 miles n back n then the original or aspec struts be put on again
