A/T Winter Tire Update

A/T Winter Tire Update
For the few of us pondering about the available option for winter boots for our beloved 3rd Gen TL with A/T.
I have selected to move to a different size of tires for the winter season 16" instead of 17" so as to get a narrower thread width on the road which will provide better traction in severe winter weather.
The following will not work on M/T Tl's or TL which where upgrade to the Big Brake option as the rims will not clear the calipers.
I have purchased 4 OEM Steel rims (16" X 6.5" width) and selected Nokian RSI Winter Studless Tires in the size of 205/60R16. I know that the most of the Acura dealers are suggesting 215/55R16 for winter tires in the 16" size but selected the 205/60R16 because of their narrower thread.
One big surprise is the price difference between these 2 sizes of tires
205/60-16 Nokian RSI $159 CDN installed & Balanced.
215/55-16 Nokian RSI $211 CDN installed & Balanced.
Negotiated the price at a Tire dealer and my Acura Dealer matched it to the penny.
My local Acura dealer (Acura Plus, Blainville/Quebec-Canada) has a special on OEM steel rims right now @ $55CDN per rim instead of $75 each.
The tire size difference will result in a very small speedometer error (Less then 1.4%) where the speedometer will indicate slightly less then what the car is actually doing (0.84MPH @ 60MPH) which is more then acceptable.
Can't wait to experince this new generation of Studdless Winter tire from Nokian as I had their previous ones, Hakka Q and had been very satisfied as I have been will their Winter tires for the past 14 winters.
Best regards

Sounds very logical and well thought out based on all the advice I have always seen. I have a 6MT so my choices were more limited.
Good luck with the setup, sounds like a winner.
FYI for those that like/use tire rack they also have steel rims (16") available in packages for the AT only.
