swithing to A-spec Suspension, need alignment?

Ok so here is the question...

I just purchased a Used set of the the A-spec Suspension (manual) for my 06 auto.

Now I remember reading somewhere that when you drop a car you need to align it about a week later after the suspension has settled to have a good alignment.

being that my suspension will be used and not new, do I still need to follow the one week rule or can I do it right away after the install?

Also being that it is less then a one inch drop do I even need to redo my alignment?

Correct me if Im wrong anywhere...thanks guys.

When I had my A-Spec suspension installed I had the car aligned the same day and it worked out just fine. No need for any adjustments later in my case.
