Suspension Question
What is the "cheapest" way to get a firmer suspension while keeping the stock height?
What is the "best" way to get a firmer suspension while keeping the stock height?
Thank you.

Thanks Turbo..
Aspec was my first choice but with my wheel fitment problem right now (wheels too big and wide with +22 offset) I can't have any more drop unless I get a stretched tires. I've read on some posts that Aspec will give you at least 1" drop or even a bit lower that I can't have at the moment.
How firm is the Aspec suspension anyway vs the stock? Maybe I will fit a 245/35/20 on a 20x9.5 rim with 22 offset. Will this still rub specially with an inch drop and a rolled fender?

Seems like a lot of work, but maybe stiff springs that will lower the car, then bring the height back up with a spring spacer. Don't even know if this is available for the TL.
Better off bypassing the wheels/tires and go with something that fits correctly. Doesn't seem worth the effort even if they were free.

You mean to say that there is no way of making the supension stiffer and keeping the stock height?
Is there anything in market that I can purchase to accomplish this? I don't mind having a slight drop as long as I can make the suspension firmer. The car does look good (very aggresive) with these rims on them IMO and this is why I kind of wanted to make it work.
I'm been trying to get some info now about the Tien SS. It looks like this one is adjustable depending on how firm you want it to go. The only thing I need to find out is about the height.

I asked this same question and turned up no results for stock height and stiffer.
I settled on a-spec springs and Koni shocks. The drop is minimal. Most people, myself included use the manual transmission springs on the auto to give it a more even drop since the a-spec tends to have the rear sagging a little. The manual transmission springs will bring the front down a little more. However, use the correct kit for your car and it will be minimal. If you happen to have a manual, you could use the 5at a-spec springs and Koni Yellows in the rear set on the higher perch setting. This should put you very close to stock height all around.

Thanks I hate cars.
How much firmer did this set up gave you? Reading more about the suspension from this board I'm starting to look into the Tein SS or the Megans coilovers. Thanks to everyone's reviews and comments.
Have you checked these two coilovers before deciding on what you have now? Just wanted to get your opinion or other guy's experience on these before I go with either one of them.
