stripped male lugg nut on wheel, what to do?
I have a stripped male lugg nut on one of my wheels. I tried to put the lug nut back on but after several turns, it resists from moving. How do I fix this situation? Can I manage to get by with 4 out of 5 lug nuts on my wheel?

I have car ADD
iTrader: (6)
4 out of 5 , properly tighten is Ok for NOW... fix this issue
basically you need a new stud, thats the bolt coming through the hub & that the nut spins on to.. couple dollars....tops.. labor might be another thing, cut the old one, hammer the new one in... shouldnt be a big deal to change

What did you break? The threads or the lug nut?
You dont need* 5 lug nuts (lots of 5.0 stangs are fine with 4)
* = But you shouldnt keep it that way for long...
They sell the studs... The hard part is getting out the old one... Im there there is an easy way, but I think you could wait until summer or atleast your next paycheck.. Call for prices... Call discount tire and see who they recommend to fix it. You arent the first... But you will start all your lug nuts by hand in the future.

Since its dead anyway & if you have some threads to start on you can always try running a die over the stud to see if it will repair the threads.
