What is the stock ride height of a 2007 Acura TL?
Where is it measured from?
I need winter rims and tires. Tires with a lot of side wall and preferably steel rims.
What size steel rims do i need?
What size tires do i need?
Maybe there has been someone out here who has already gone thru this. Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

Good question...in 17", they will be very difficult to find.
Same size as your OEM tires...235/45/17...there are a few sizes narrower that may work as well.

6MT would be equipped with Brembo brakes as well and as such, will 16" rims fit?

I did a fair amount of research on this very question a few months back. While I cannot definitively say there is no way a 16" wheel can be made to clear the Brembos, I was unable to come up with a single 16" wheel on the various sites which sell numerous brands. In fact, if memory serves, I only found two 16" wheels which would clear the brakes on the base 3G TL.

I was just wondering since you suggested 16" alloys for the base

Well whaddya know, I just went over to TireRack and found a 16" setup with steel wheels for a base TL. The wheels are $62 per and the base package comes with Michelin X-Ice XI3 tires in the 215/55 R16 size for $128.74.
I'm guessing when I looked last May they were out of stock on the steelies.

Yeah, the details on those threads are pretty sketchy. My gut tells me a 16" setup from a Gen 7 V6 Accord (and probably later) will fit.
Edit: I just went over to TireRack.com and configured up a Winter set for both a 2005 V6 Accord EX as well as a 2005 TL (automatic); I selected the Enkei RSF5 wheels for both sets and the specs for the wheels are identical:
Too bad I can't fit these suckers on my TL.
