I am in the market for getting new tires on my 2001 TL-P rims. I was wondering is it possible to get low profile tires on my rims? and what size should I get. Thanks

 

Mounting a lower profile tire on the stock wheel would change the overall rolling diameter which would directly affect the accuracy of the speedometer. Theoretically the only way to have a lower profile tire would be to increase your wheel diameter (i.e. upgrade to 17" or 18") Otherwise you can upgrade to a wider tire such as 225-55/16 that will still preserve the stock rolling diameter.
