This is for the dudes that swear that they know body work and painting at car shows... They mention that the paint was blended to the middle of the car from the fenders and quarter panel... They make no sense... why would a painter risk not matching for a couple of ounzes of paint he'll save???

I just keep it moving playa...
Also having Step Lips on the wheels helps
I go to Staten Island every once in a while... I'm typically in the other 4 Boroughs... Highland Ave is a little crazy over there... mainly because I don't know the roads on the Island really.

Makes the wheel (the structure) more rigid and resists more stress (pot holes). Basically it increases the moment of inertia of the wheel. it's like taking a plain sheet of paper, as a straight piece it can't hold it's own weight, but if you fold it like an accordion (corrugated) it can hold it's own weight plus a small book 20 times it's weight on top of it. There's a reason why building slabs are poured with thin corrugated steel pans instead of thick straight steel pans...
Hope it makes sense.
All wheels have the inner section of it's barrel stepped... adding a step on it outer rim just increases it's stregth times 2...

Just saw this thread today. Damn Rodney I have to give u mad props on how ur whip came out the shop. Luv the way the back looks, very aggresive looking. Plus the LS460 exhaust tips look like they belong on ur TL. U have me inspired on fixing up my TL to VIP status. And that bodyshop guy does an amazing super clean job, and its hard to find a guy like that. Car just looks flawless. Fell in love with ur whip right away. I may have to take my TL to ur bodyshop guy to have my car looking flawess as well. Send my car to NY from Miami.

The picture of the car in the shop getting the metal work done..... Is it completed?? I would love to see the after photos. At first the car looked terrible with the rims sticking out so far, but with that metal work, it could wind up off the charts.....
