Ssr Gt7h

I thought I would post a pic of my two TLs. I just got the 2004 and did a few mods. The pics were not so good because it was about two degrees out and there were only a few where I wasn't shaking.

The wheels are SSR GT7H from tire rack in a 18 x 9. I also have the PZero Nero. I know a few others got these as well but just thought I would say I love these wheels! Tirerack still has them on clearance. It's a forged 2 piece wheel at less than half the retail price. They look even better in person than in the pics IMHO. The wheel design is very similar to the wheels that came on the NSX around 2003.

The width of the tire is kind of an interesting feel on the 04 compared to the TypeS. Cornering on the 04 with these tires is great. Excellent grip. The steering feel is hard to say between the two because the 2004 power steering has more boost to it. You can feel the tires following the road once and a while. The 04 is lowered and the ride is a little diffent but close to the firmness of the TypeS.

Anyway, I really like the wheels and if anyone is looking for a deal I think it's a great quality wheel.

You can click the pics above and then hit "full size" on the web page. I coldn't figure out how to post them large in the thread.

hehe... nice choice on wheels!

I got in on the same deal. They are tight fit but they do fit.

I have a set of used 245/40/18 on them right now and have about 3mm of clearance to the suspension.

Hey nice wheels! I'm considering these wheels as well. Do you have any more pics? What size tire are you running? Do you have a 6MT?

GT7's are forged 1 piece. However, once you get to a certain size it becomes GT7-H (hybrid) where they weld the forged front to the back of the wheel.
