Springs sugguestion

Well im in the market for some springs. These springs are going to be on for a bit before I get some coilovers in the future.

Im looking for springs with at least 1" drop and wouldn't sacrifice too much ride comfort but will improve the handling a little bit. These springs will be paired with my oem type-s shocks.

I was leaning towards the S-Tech springs. Anyone have any better experience with something else?

It would be nice if you can post pic as well..Thanks!

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

+2 on this question... looking at getting the Tein S-Techs on the stock shocks... I wouldnt use the adjust feature enough on the coilovers for it to be worth the cost, just looking for a bit of a drop... gonna be adding the 18" A-specs in a few weeks, and would like to see the drop with 18" wheels... thanks!!!!

i plan to get tein SS in the future. i just got back from an azine meet, and after seeing a tl in particular i think eibach drop looks pretty nice for a temporary solution.

I can't offer any help, but I'm debating on the same 2 spring w/ factory struts. From what I've read H&R's seem to be the way to go. I know when I was searching around I found some pics of a TL w/ H&Rs on stock struts. I'm almost wanting to say it was Bearcat's TL

Dude get the H&R sports.....they so kick asss.....made in germany...its the fawking shietz.

Just installed mine last week and so far I LOVE them...I paired with the tokico hps and man, no HARSH ride at all (feels like factory of a non type S suspension)..and i can go around twists and switching lanes better...the fun factor just got bump up alot.

Its 1.5 in front and 1.4 in the rear I believe, but its a perfect drop that won't sacrifice anything i.e. wheel gap, no scraping of bumper/kits, etc.

I came from a slammed tsx and boy I was scraping bumpers, couldn't get on lifts for services....and I told myself NEVER again. I was slammed 2.5 inches on coilovers on the tsx.

I'm a type of person with OCD and I always want things just right....so if i have coilovers, i would always adjust it and keep on adjusting and then just keep thinking this and that...and what if and watever...

so I just settle with tokico and h&r and no need to adjust anymore and don't have to look back at it. Most people dont want to adjust their suspension after they put it in cuz of hassles and time constraints (esp. for adjustable dampers like koni) (not saying konis are bad) but how often do you adjust anything after u put it on?

Go with the H&R sports...you won't regret it.

Yeah, I'd opt for H&R's as well.
On a side note, you know that pairing these springs with your oem struts will wear them down a lot faster, right? If you're planning on getting full coilovers in the near future, I'd suggest waiting. That or you could pair the springs with some Konis later down the line...works out perfectly! Be careful of spring ratings...you don't wanna be bouncy...civic-esk

what settings are people with koni sport dampers are turning to?
stiffer-stiff-soft-softer......is everyone choosing "soft" for ride quality?

Thanks

but I already ordered the S-Tech springs..I was having a hard time deciding between the H&R and the S-Tech, but I chose the S-Tech because I was hoping it would be softer than the H&R yet still improve handling a bit.

Hopefully they work out.

What would be a good pair or shocks and stuts to go with the S-Tech besides the Koni yellows? Any other good combo with adjustable height and stiffness?
