Springs and drop comparison

Looking for a set of springs. Basically - I love the stock rims. If a company made replica's in 18s or 19s, I'd grab them in a minute. That being said, I just want to keep the stockers and lower the car to give it a little bit of a drop.

So I have seen the list of various springs, which is the best for a daily driver and reasonable drop? I don't want to replace my teeth going over train tracks. Also - are we good with upgraded springs keeping our stock TL-S shocks/struts?

I've been asking questions a lot about this same kind thing as I'm going to be upgrading my suspension soon the the neuspeed/koni spring and shocks. Generally the answer is - You should replace the shocks if you're getting new springs and lowering the car.

I went with Comptech and dropped about an inch .. ride really didn't suffer a lot.

That's really my concern - I think a 1" drop would be perfect so long as it keeps the ride.

Definitely sport springs - no race springs for me.

Here's a good post with basically each spring out there and their relative drop: https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/suspension-your-acura-offered-b2autodesigns-springs-shocks-703386/

I would go with an Eibach Pro Kit for a 1" drop - I don't think that's a true "race spring" since it's a conservative drop - but that's what I'm looking for.
