A-Spec suspension in Los Angeles freeways
Just purchased an '05 TL auto/navi for my wife; all the research here had me set into getting the a-spec shocks. After driving around the 5 and other crappy LA freeways... I'm feeling the bumps quite a bit, I was surprised. Not uncomfortable (used to my S2000), but I don't want to make the car overly harsh for my wife while trying to make it more fun for me. So... should I expect a moderate increase in 'bumpiness' over rough surfaces or will it be quite different? Thanks!

At first it may feel a bit more bumpy, but then as the shocks seat it will be much better. I got my wife the A-spec and the Comptech sway. She was worried about the bumpy problem too. But she loves the ride now. So go for it and enjoy.

I'd love to actually rent an ASPEC for a weekend. Yeah right!

You guys need not worry the A-Spec setup is not overly harsh. In fact I am now finding it to be a bit too 'floaty' for spirited driving.
Hard curves and road variations still produce the up down 'float' effect
Hard stops still produce nose dive
Normal driving still feels luxurious and soft.
While I do not have the delicate asian princess option, I can attest to the fact that the car is 100% American princess approved. We recently took a long distance road trip (FL to NY) and I did not so much as hear a peep from the princess.
I looked over and saw her like this most of the trip

Since my dealer didn't have any Asian Princesses in stock, I haven't picked one up yet. But if I were to get one now, I'd probably opt for the Asian Princess Foo Platinum edition, v 3.51 with the hacked firmware. I hear those are the least buggy of the bunch.
