Hi, i searched for awhile and couldn't find an answer so here we go. im trying to install my a-spec suspension but i can't figure out which parts i need to remove from the stock suspension to put on the new one. The one i purchased does not come with top hats or anything, just springs and struts.
these are the two pieces that i cannot get off the oem strut, do i need them or am i crazy

Flip the shock upside down, place the rod end on a sturdy surface, tap the washer with a hammer on the edge, from the shock body side and it will pop loose.

The bump stop will then slide off.

 

just got it off thanks, almost thought it wasnt supposed to come off
