A-Spec suspension cost?

I know the A-spec suspension is becoming quite scarce but I spoke with a local dealer recently and I was told that it would cost around 3k as I quote "need to buy the rims also".

That sounds like a complete load of bullcrap. I have seen it from Tim for around 600 are these guys just yanking my chain?

I believe you just answered your own question. 600 vs 3000.

You CERTAINLY dont have to buy the rims at all.
you're the buyer, you get to choose what you want to buy.

they just are trying to upsell the rims.

you can purchase the aspec suspension from tim or any other "acura Dealership" but dont pay more than 600 for the suspension set.

There's a few dealers on eBay that have them around $600ish, it should work fine with any of the factory wheels. Hopefully they stay that price in the spring when I wanna pick up a set.

Don't pay more than $650 for the suspension kit. You can get the rims later if you really want to complete the look. I am surprised they did not tell you to buy the side skirts and the badge for an extra $2,000. What a bunch of crap. Buy whatever you want don't let them bully you into buying anything. I would buy everything from someone else and get in touch with the management at the dealer and inform them of the high pressure sales pitch and that you will be taking your business elsewhere... They don't call it the stealer-ship for nothing...

Thanks for the reply's guys. I had a good feeling they were trying to cheat me. I won't be buying the rims I have the stock 08 Base rims which I won't be changing as I really like them.

Hoping they work good with the suspension.

This dealer has pulled this shit on me before. They claimed the A-Spec wing spoiler would be 1000 dollars I paid around 400 from Tim.
