A-Spec Suspension Alignment Question

A-Spec Suspension Alignment Question
My dealer is installing my new A-Spec Suspension on my '04 6MT on Tuesday.
I have heard that after installing the new shocks/struts it takes a few days for the suspension to 'settle in' to the bushings etc..hence dropping the car a little more as it settles several days after the install..
Should I wait on the Alignment a few days?? What is the correct thing to do...
thanks for your replies..

There are a few threads regarding alignment after install. Some say it's not needed because the drop, about half inch, will/should not disturb the original alignment settings. Others, for a safe piece of mind, insist the alignment be checked to prevent future wear and tear as well as problems. I'm sure you can negotiate something and see if the dealer will check it. Do a search on alighnment.

I wouldhave to say that I insist of getting an alignment done because installing the a-spec suspension puts EVERYTHING out of whack when they take things apart and is the SMART thing to do. I waited 2 weeks after my install o settle and then went back for the alignment. If I did not, my car would still be pulling to the right and the steering wheel would still be off center which was NOT there befoe the a-spec install and is now perfect after alignment. Do yourself a favor and get it done.
