i say yes, but not sure if it will be covered in the warranty. and it only makes a difference in the front, the back is the same drop if i remember correctly.

me and a few other members here put the 6mt suspension on the auto. it evens the drop so it is the same front and rear. i like it and it rides great without the ridiculous wheel gap. the official specs on the base tl's 2004-2006 are that the 6mt is 93 pounds lighter than the auto.

A-spec is a great choice. Very well balanced, rides nice, and will outperform just about any aftermarket stiff suspension. IMO, leaving the rear stock height and lowering the front 3/4"-1" is perfect for a daily driver which the A-spec does. I went with Koni yellows which lowered the front about an inch (spec is 3/4") and it made an incredible difference in looks. The car just looks more expensive.

i shoulda elaborated more in my post above, but i was at work. the aspec is stiff enough to take away some body roll but compliant enough to be comfortable with a little bit of stiffness, especially over rough roads. the feel of the rebound is definitely softer from a bigger drop which the tein coilovers have. the teins ride great considering they give a big drop, but they get rough over choppy roads and highways with 19's imo. overall, aspec suspension is very well balanced which u would expect since they were designed by the dude who did the suspension for the nsx which was widely regarded as one of the most well balanced cars made when it came out.

as for looks, the tein drop looks better no question. i just wish the aspec was 0.5" lower than it already sits like tein, h&r and comptech springs. if u wanna run some sick 19's it's not gonna look that great with the aspec suspension, u really need a gangsta 2-2.5" drop like the tein coilovers.

btw, if u don't put the 6mt aspec on the auto the drop is probably going to be less than 1" and not that noticeable. it'll drive a lot better though.
