When I bought my car I swore I wasn't going to do any modifications.

There goes that idea...

I just wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were on this issue I've been playing out in my head.

I've got an 06 WDP TL with the A-Spec Underbody Kit...

Now I was thinking of going Full A-Spec and All I need is the deck-lid spoiler the rims & suspension, right?

So...I've got a buddy who gets 30% off parts and this is what it boils down to:

18" A-Spec Chrome Rims includes TPMS: retail $550 ea. (my price: $336 ea.)
A-Spec Suspension: supposedly retails for about $1000 (mp: $700)
Acura recommended Yokohama tires...I prefer Toyo but my buddy sez: $150 ea. tire no matter what I go with.
Grand Total: $2,644.00

Do You guys think I should go with that? or should I get something Aftermarket? I'd really like chrome...& I like big lips
The Ron Jon Inspyre II look good to me! & 19's would be just right!
X-cept I don't want to wait!
...If u think this is the route I should take....any suggestions on some nice 19's chrome with lips?

Anyways...what do u guys think?
Hands down A-Spec? or 19" Aftermarket Rims? no drop?

I love the Aspec stuff on my car including suspension, and I really like my Ronjon Legend wheels. Here's the car with Chrome Aspecs and legends.

As hot as the ASpec rims are..id say go for aftermarket..if you're going to get ASpec suspension regardless..I think that's 1/2" lower than standard and 19's would look just perfect! And this way you can get your big lips

Id recommend you some progress springs and some 20's Sevas wheels like the S22 which are just so beautifull especially black with a chrome lip, then you will be ballin

Go after market ... everyone has the aspec or ronjon ... be different .. find something with a lip ..

I personally like the A-Spec wheels, BUT think the Legends look 1,000% BETTER.

fellas... remember... she has the 6MT w/ the HUGE Brembo Calipers... so her wheel selection is very limited...

In terms of no lip... I would go with the 19" RonJon Legends in Graphite... I can't justify spending $2,600 for some OEM 18" wheels...

So, in conclusion, 19" Legends, Tein SS Coilover and Progress Rear Sway Bar... for the Mamacita....

For that kind of cash, go aftermarket! The ronjon's are ugly as hell. The Aspec's look 1000x better.

I love the look of the whole aspec kit, i think the difference looks like night and day. I have the aspec underbody spoilers, trunk lip spoiler, aspec rims, maybe i will do the aspec suspension and steering wheel later on. The reason i went this route is because ive had bad experiences with aftermarket quality on my previous hondas. Atleast if you go with the aspec stuff it will be acura designed and have some sort of warranty if anything goes wrong!
