I was looking to put the 5 spoke a-spec wheel on my TLS but was told by Acura that it wouldn't clear the brakes on the front. Today, I see one with those wheels and looks to me they clear just fine. What do you guys think? Are there two different offsets in that wheel that I'm not aware of? Thanks for your help.

 

There's no way that's true. Tons of people here have Brembo brakes and A-Spec wheels. There was a change in the width at some point from 8.5" to 8", but the offset is 45mm on both, AFAIK.

 

I would go to another Acura dealership since that one was dumb enough to tell you that it won't fit.

 

Bring this pic to the dealer so that they can see for theirselves, this is my 06 aspec tl 6spd same brakes as tl's they fit w/o any modification.
