Spacers make the stance beefier ???

So I just got my 06 3gen and she's completely stock but as a cheap exterior mod I was thinking of some mild spacers all around to give it a beefier stance for the time being..
My question is will a 10mm spacer Actually sit nice?
I just wanna do a cheap visual mod that may ppl won't notice unless you know what your looking at, plus for me to love the car even more

Let the convo begin!!! lol

10mm spacers will require you to install extended studs. I would do version 2 spacers with the studs built into the spacer itself. 15mm front and 20mm rear

15 F & 20 R will make for a nice setup.

A lot of ppl do 15 up front and 20 in the rear. I'm thinking about doing this as well with my stock rims when I get my coilovers.

I did 15mm up front and 25mm in the rear. Made the wheels look way beefier.

Did you just have to roll your fenders or what?

I've got 15 mm in the front and 20 mm in the rear with stock wheels and stock suspension. I do think it makes the stance better and doesn't effect the ride quality or anything else. And yes, it was a cheap, subtle improvement.

This is teh best side view I coudl find that I already had uploaded.

I based my decision a lot on this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...t=wheel+spacer

I also recommend getting them from ebay, they were < $150 shipped for both pairs. You just need a 5x114.3 with a 64.1 center bore.

At stock ride height you shouldn't have to roll your fenders. I would really suggest sticking with 15/20 though. The rears already look more sunk in than the front, so adding the same size spacer all the way around is really going to make the front look further out than the rear.

Here is a good example of this, even though it's a rolling shot it's very easy to see. I have 15mm front and 20mm rear and I am lowered over 2" all around. Look how close my fronts are to the fender, then look at the rears and how they still look more sunk in. I almost wish I went with a 25mm in the rear, oh well.

On stock suspension, I'd go with 25mm spacers.

Sick photo, Chip!!!

I plan on lowering her 2 all around also..
Soo I'm sure 15/20 will be fine I could always add a baby 5mm in the rear later
Which brings me to my next question..
How well does the stock struts do with lowering springs ??
On my old car (Lexus es300) I had to change everything cuz the stock struts are soft as a cloud lol
I had tokico struts and intraxx springs 1.5f 2.0r and boy did that lol grocery getter drive like a dream...

If you're going 2" lower you're gonna want aftermarket shocks. Can't imagine the stock shocks will last long with springs that aggressive.

I've got 15's on the front and 20's on the back too. There's enough pictures here for you to get the idea.

I'm selling 10mm/ 25mm spacers. I have some 3mm/5mm also but i'll have to check. The 10mm are Projekt Kics so you can add another spacer on top without getting extended lug nuts.

basically, it'll look like this.

hub/ 3~5mm spacers/ Kics Spacers/ Locks/ Wheel.

PM me if you're interested!

Yep, here's the link for the spacers i got. Just make sure you get the mm you want and the correct bolt pattern for the TL.

Can I run 15/20 mm spacers with 255/40 tires on stock rims? I'm thinking of going for a drop down the road, but not sure if tire size changes the game in any way...

TIA

I'm lowered on Stechs and was wondering if I went with a 25mm spacer in the rear, would I just have to roll my fenders or would there be more involved like pulling them too? I've got stock 235 tires...

How do you like the Dunlop star spec justin? Those tires run pretty wide and loud.
