Spacer question

Whats up guys, as the title says i have a question about wheel spacers. I have 18x8 Aspecs, and i know that the offset is +45 all around. Im running 255/40/18 DWS ExtremeContacts on them. My question is, would 15mm in the front & 20mm in the rear put me flush with the fenders? Also lowered on BC coils. Thanks for any info

Holy beefy tires batman!

Generally 25 mm all around would give you a flush look (as discussed in my thread https://acurazine.com/forums/tires-w...5-17-a-926283/) or 15mm front / 25 mm back if you want to be on the "safe" side, but this would be with a 235 or 225 tire.

With a 255 I'm not sure you'd be able to get "flush" without rubbing like crazy. Justnspace might be able to chime in on this as he's running pretty beefy tires and likes it that way.

The following thread may be of help!

You're going to rub.

Even with rolled rear fenders , I rubbed with 245s on 18x8.5 A-Specs lowered on S-Techs and 20mm spacers.

I'm also on 245/40/18 with spacers 15F/20R, A-Spec wheels, Tein-Stech.
With rolled fenders with a slight pull it still rubs.

Aside from the rubbing issue and to answer your question, yes they will get you flush with the fenders.

Isn't the side wall height the only thing that matters though? I'm rolled front & rear. Also, couldn't I adjust my coils until the fender lip is above the wheel? Thanks for the replies.

Tire width matters just as much as sidewall height. A wide tire will sit on the wheel like this l l instead of like this / \ with a narrow tire. The angle provides more room between the tire and fender.

Yes, you could raise the car, but all coilovers lower the vehicle a minimum amount. You might not be able to raise it enough depending on what coils you have.

Shit. I guess the only thing I could do for now is stay tucked, and get smaller width tires next time? I mean, i guess I could test fit & see about how much they will rub. Thanks man!

Just test fit and see. If you have adjustable alignment products you could always add some negative camber to clear the fenders.

Unfortunately i don't, and was hoping that i wouldn't have to travel down that road haha. I would like just a small amount of natural camber. My Aspecs are currently being powder coated, and ill test fit. Ill be sure to chime in & let you know.
