What socket size would I need to get to remove the OEM lug nuts?

Not that I don't believe him. I just always thought it was 12mm. I don't know where I got this from. I probably got confused with something else.

Yes it is a 19mm. There is no way in hell it would ever be a 12mm your wheels would probably fall off.
