Snow Tire Install @ Firestone Questions

So I am going to get some snow tires installed at Firestone and since my dad was in the area I asked him to get me a quote. What they said is listed below, but I was wondering what is necessary and what is not?

Blizzak LM-25 tires (no mileage warranty) - $800
New Tire Wheel Balance - $8
New Tire Wheel Balance Labor - $40
Road Hazard Protection - $121 ($30/tire)
Tire Disposal Fee - $11
New TPMS Valve Service Kit - $8
TPMS Valve Service Kit Labor - $12

Now I guess my questions really pertain to the last 3..since i'll be keeping my old tires there shouldn't be a disposal fee right? And does anyone know what the last 2 mean? TPMS in the snows doesn't really make a difference to me, but I will put them back on my A/S tires.

Thanks for your help!

If you don't have the TPMS sensors installed, the alarm and light will remain on notifying you of a problem with the system. The service kit is nothing other than new gaskets and valves, and the labor to install. If you're just putting the tires on the rims that now have the sensors installed, there should be no charge, at least in my opinion.

New Tire Wheel Balance Labor - $40
Road Hazard Protection - $121 ($30/tire)
Tire Disposal Fee - $11
New TPMS Valve Service Kit - $8 you do not need new tpms
TPMS Valve Service Kit Labor - $12

They want to rip you off. I think this is BS. Go to different place

Well here's the thing, i'm not too worried about the tire price because theres a friends and family event going on where you get 35% off and 15% off service. This is the only reason I am going to go to firestone.

for anyone else that is interested in purchasing tires/service from firestone (or expert tire) here is the coupon.. http://upaywhatwepay.com/fcac/coupon_register_fcac.php just fill it out and its on the next screen. expires feb 1st

yeah i looked at those, but with the 35% off coupon it works out to be 800 - 35% = $520 compared to Tirerack's $710.

i wasnt originally planning on getting snows this season, but i figure if i can get them for this cheap, then i might as well.

just to update..

i ended up getting this done at Town Fair Tire and got a killer deal. They matched Tire racks price + their road hazard and then gave me 35% off.

4 Blizzaks LM-25 V rated
Install, Parts, Labor
4 Wheel Alignment

all for $688 before tax. Came out to be $730 total.
