Smashed my tire

so i was driving at night and hit this big pot hole wich is impossible to see
so i smashed my tire
called the cops they filed a report
now i am wondering if i can get any money from the city so i can buy a new tire
or better of getting a lawyer

not sure how the whole laws or whatever are there in Ohio but i did the same thing on my Mustang GT and the state was very quick to get my wheel replaced with a new tire GL

I don't know where you live in Ohio?? But I live in Akron and you could pretty much forget it!! They wouldn't pay for shit and you would waste your money on a lawyer!!

no you can fill out a claim plus i got pictures and shit and police report
and i am in cleveland area so i should be good

oh and anyone knows where i can get a new tire like that or at least used one

Hopefully you can just get the city to pay up. For what it would cost to hire a lawyer to pursue this you could just go buy a new wheel and tire and save yourself the time and hassle. The tire is a Michelin Pilot HX MXM4, (OEM TL tire), and they list for $250+ each.

ye i found some for 200 plus 200 for rim
man i am pissed because samw thing already happend to me like a month ago and i didnt do nothing to the city

shit 1000 bucks in two months for tires
