LMFAO, wheelhop when doing a burnout is non existent, it's when you try and launch, when you get severe wheel hop

Dumping it should get the tires spinning quickly so they can't drag the rear. Once they're spinning, release the e-brake and let it roll. You'll feel it start to grab when it gets to the dry area, be ready to hit the clutch.

That will get you started. You'll probably come up with your own thing such as releasing the e-brake sooner or later or not all the way at once.

Some tracks don't have a real puddle, just a guy spraying the burnout area to keep it damp.

If you can get a fair number of runs in at your track, you might try the first run without a burnout just to compare. Next run, spin the tires for a second or two without the brake, just spin until it grabs. That's still way better than nothing. Once you're comfortable with that you can try holding the car with the e-brake for a longer burnout if necessary.
in my video, the first part is me just revving the engine up, then i just dump the clutch, partly why the tires just "start" spinning, and when i roll forward is when i had released the e-brake

I did that on a set of dying slicks on my srt-4. My neighborhood was just a short loop connected to a long two lane road in the shape of a "D". Pull out on the straight, lit them up, pulled in the second entrance, back into the driveway for the dismount

Put the slicks on the rear.... You won't even have to pull the e-brake.

I'm itching to go to the track. The nearest open one is 4 hours away and has a 7-10 t&t tonight. I'm trying to figure out how to get the gf distracted so I can sneak out

Fastest time to date. 14.1 @101 with a 2.35 60 ft. Elevation: 786 ft tires: hankook ventus v12 evo with no burnout at all. Stock clutch slipping from 6500-7200rpm.

Launch at 1500 rpm.

New clutch going on this month along with 85a mounts and the Hoosiers.

Even made some money tonight against a 2010 camaro ss. We did best two out of three and I treed him every run.
First run I ran a 14.3 and he ran a 14.8
Second run I ran a 14.1 and he ran a 13.7
Third run I ran a 14.2 and he ran a 15.0

Dude could not drive

Nice kill against the SS! But wow, he really can't drive, haha. Guess it comes with practice.
