Shocks!!!
after months of driving in these F'ed up roads in NYC I finally replaced my shocks at 63330 miles. I picked the shocks up at an Acura dealer up in Bedford Hills. I was wondering whats the diff with an A-spec suspension vs. my stock TL. I want to get the A-spec kit put on, should I add the suspension on? question? thoughts, comments?

what year is your TL?
auto or six speed?
in addition of the springs being lower on the aspec suspension, the shock is also valved more aggressively.
the aspec suspension comes with springs and shocks as a whole assembly.
its and easy swap of suspension as all you do is take out the old and put in the new.

@DMZ .. lolz... you right, ill be creeping on these roads. Ill never get to where im suppose to be in time.
All in all I still want to put the lip kit on, not sure about the suspension yet though, The new shocks make the ride so much better...

Yes. A-spec = stiffer springs, stiffer shocks, lower ride height, and more harsh ride quality. On top of that, they probably wouldn't last as long as original shocks due to the bad road conditions.

Get the A-Spec suspension =)
It gives the perfect ride height IMO without being too low or too high.
Just don't do what I did and snap off a pinch bolt that I have yet to remove!!!
I love the ride quality of the A-Spec suspension. Mostly because my OEM shocks were blown, so anything other than blown shocks would have ride better lol.
I bought the 07 Type-S A-Spec Suspension for my 04.

The NYC roads are the sole reason I've refused to install it.

The A-Spec suspension doesn't lower the car ANY MORE than 3/4". You won't scrape.
Look at all the people in NYC with SLAMMED rides.
Just because you feel insecure about driving in NYC with a SLIGHTLY lowered car, doesn't mean other people have to be.
Hell, most people can't even tell the difference height wise from A-Spec and Base shocks.
