Which Rotors for 06 TL?

Which Rotors for 06 TL?
I'm thinking about putting on new front rotors instead of having them machined again. I have the dealership telling me I should stick with Honda rotors for a performance car like the TL and that I wouldn't be happy with after market rotors. I have another place, that I usually trust, that says I should put on after market American rotors and not Honda rotors since the metal requirements are more stringent in America and will be better, or something to that effect. The Honda Rotors are about twice as much as the American Rotors. Any opinions or suggestions? I am willing to pay the extra money for something that is going to last and be better for the car. Thanks!

Wow, wasn't expecting to hear that! I'll definitely keep that in mind! Appreciate the heads up!

These are what I have. They're a bit pricey, but perform better than anything out there for your car.
There are also a couple of vendors on here who you could ask as well.

Your Honda rotors warped right? What makes you think a second set won't do the same thing?
Go back to your guy who you "usually trust" and ask him for a high quality replacement.

I'm assuming you have the 5at and not the 6mt with Brembos.
The 5at rotors are some of the worst factory rotors I've dealt with. They warp very easily. There are tons of aftermarket companies to choose from and many options whether you want to do with stock sized replacements to a larger big brake kit. Try a search for rotors and you will have a day's worth of reading.

I bought these Brembo OEM style (no drills, slots or anything fancy) for my 2G Legend, and they have worked great for about 40K miles so far.
