You know how things come & go in & out of style, like spinning rims. Now the fad is all black rims with a chrome lip, or color matched rims. The only thing that stayed in style are all chrome rims. Do you thing black or color matched rims will stay in style?

ive always liked black/anthracite rims with a polised lip. not really a chrome lip

Fad's by definition, don't last. Are black/colormatched wheels a fad? Maybe. They have been around for a long time, they just weren't as popular. My guess is that they'll just loose popularity and even if they do, who cares. Buy what you like now.

I personaly never liked any finish on a wheel other than silver. I never liked chrome(still don't) and I thought color matched wheels looked a bit cheesy. But the more wheels I looked at when I was shopping the more I liked the idea of gunmetal wheels for my AM. So I bought wheels that just about match the color of the car exactly and I couldn't be happier with the look.
