Question Rim size and offset on 19's while being lowered! Please help!!

What's up acurazine! I just recently purchased a 2007 tl base model. I have been looking over numerous threads and posts for the pat few weeks. I've learned a lot so far but still have some questions that I'm hoping you guys could answer for me.. First off I want to lower my car and I am pretty sure cool overs is the best way to go.. I want to put 19's on my car also but I don't want to modify the fenders at all.. I was wondering if I could put 19x9.5 on my car all around while being lowered with a high offset? I was thinking like a 40mm. Is this possible without rubbing? If not then can I do a 19x8.5 up front and 9.5 in the rear?

Please tell me what the widest wheel is I can fit on my car without rolling fenders, and what the lowest offset is I can go also..

Thank you guys for taking the time to read my post and help me out.. I'm kinda new to this whole offset/stance thing..

Thanks again guys!!

hey man, im on tein basics, pretty much maxxed out, and i have 19x9.5 +40 in the rear and 19x8.5 +35 in the front. No rubbing or anything and it looks good. I am in the process of maybe adding a 5mm spacer in the front and maybe a 10mm spacer in the rear. But i think you should be fine with the specs that i have

you should be fine with a +40 offset. I wouldn't go wider than a 245 tire, congrats on the car

Depends on what size tires you want to run as well. Right now I am +23 in the front with a 235 tire and 8.5 inch rim and I don't rub. I'm not super low, but I have a finger gap between the fender and tire. I did roll the front and rear fenders, but the fronts are pretty much rolled from the factory. Even after I rolled them it didn't really compress them in that much further. You can go lower than a +35 offset and not rub especially if you run a 225 or even 215 tire, but that depends on how much you want the tire to be stretched.

Wow, you must be damn close to rubbing up front then. You have an inch wider rim than I do (.5 inner and outer), same drop, same size tire, and 3mm lower offset. I'd like to see a pic of this.
