Rim question
I read the FAQ on rims fitment but i still don't really understand all that offset stuff so i figured i'd ask. I'm trying to purchase some motegi RT5 flat black rims for an 04 TL it says they come in "size=18x7.5 bolt pattern=5x100 & 5x4.5 back side setting=6 offset=45. just want to know if they'll fit

itll fit but why would u downgrade the rim width? the originals are 8 inches wide.... personally Id stay with the stocks or upgrade to the right rim. 18x8 or 17x8 or slightly wider.....the 6speed tl needs an offset of +32 for the brembos..... check out www.ronjonwheels.com hes got the right stuff or at least the right stuff to compare sizes to.

RonJon wheels are aight... but for the same price you can do better IMHO...
the Big Caliper wheel clearance is not only a function of offset, but, a function of offset, wheel disk/face and wheel style (lip or no lip) design...
I agree with TripnBeats... don't downgrade with a narrower wheel... go with at least 8"+ wide wheel... you don't want your TL to resemble a Pinto... j/k
