They have priced them way too high. I wouldn't doubt if B-stone started offering rebates if the sales started to slow.

I've always felt that Michelin and Bridgestone were a little overpriced for what they give; I mean the OEM Michelin and Bridgestone that Acura uses are ridiculous in their price and both are not that great of tire, they are a typical mediocre OEM that most people can't wait to replace and then to charge over 200 bucks a tire is ridiculous; I mean you finally can get Michelin Primacy MXM4s for the TL but I think they wer like $229 a tire on tirerack

I have the Pilot Sport A/S plus right now and before that I had the Pilot Exaltos A/S. The Exaltos have a bit more crisp steering response and just a bit less grip than the Pilot Sports. Its so close most of the time I cant tell the difference between these two. I drove the Exaltos for about 50k, they got uncomfortable around teh 42-43k mark, you can feel on those long hwy rides. It had about 60k life in the them but I gave them up at 50k for new tires and more comfort.

Both the Michelins I had were and are superb quality.

hey calgary, you'd be great to answer this question for me or maybe they are so close that you can't tell a difference, but anyway, did you feel that the Exalto's were a more comfortable riding and quieter tire then the Sport Plus A/S or would you say they are about equal?

I know one is a HP while the other is UHP tire but since they both are in the Pilot family I wasn't sure there would be much difference?

The difference is so so small imho you need one of those decibel machines to tell the difference. Just choose the one that you like the tread pattern and looks of more. I think both tires are awesome, just not awesome that awesome after 40k, youre butt will feel it.

Smarty I got the Pirelli's put on today. WOW what an improvement over the cheap Nexxens that were on it. Friggin night and day. They are quiet, smooth and seem to handle very well. Steering response seems better than the Serenity on the G35 I had. Ride Comfort is excellent. Only put on maybe 20 miles but the initial report is very good.

Glad to hear things are going good so far! I'm not surprised that the Pirelli's handle and respond better than the Serenity's since they are UHP and the Serenity's are grand touring; UHP are inherently designed to handle and respond better since they are better and designed to handle decently in cold, snowy weather!

For that reason, I am looking into HP or Grand Touring because I live in NJ, and at most, I'd only be driving in light snow 2 or 3 times a year at the worst so I don't really need a ultra firm, UHP tire! Hope everything works out best for you!
