reducing torque steer

reducing torque steer
Was just wondering if anyone has driven an 04 or 05 TL with and w/o the a-spec suspension..... Was wondering mainly if the a-spec suspension will reduce the great amount of torque steer the new TL exhibits??

Adding the A-Spec suspension had little effect to my '04 MT. Adding the 18" rims and stickier tires, however, actually enhances the phenomena since it grips better.

as far as the Saab comment, my wife has a 2005 9-3 Aero and i really do not notice it that much.

so, when exiting a corner, or even a smooth curve on the eway......if i accelerate, and i feel the steering wheel trying to tug itself from my hands and lead me to a certain death.....thats the LSD i am experiencing?????
how about that for a run-on??? hehe

I believe the wider wheels/tires on the 3rd Gen TL is causing the increase in torque steer. (However I drove one Friday and didn't notice any torque steer).
The drivetrain (LSD, 6-Speed transmission, Engine) in my 2nd Gen CL is nearly identical to the 3rd Gen TL and I have zero torque steer. Also, i'm making over 300whp in my car too. If I leave from a stop, get on the throttle hard the car goes straight.

so i wonder if something is wrong with my car again, ive already had the steering centred twice, the fuel injectors replaced, and the fuel rail replaced
and the car definitely tries to steer itself if i slam on the gas at ANY speed

No torque steer, but accelerating in a turn hard enough for the front wheels to lose traction will result in feedback that is felt through the steering wheel. I've driven my TL with and without the A-Spec suspension on stock tires. It does help, but the wheels and tires provided the most dramatic improvement.
