red pinstripe rim outline...is it worth $200?

im in the boston area and i wanted to do a first mod on my type s..... i wanted to do a vinyl pin stripe around my rims but its gunna cost me about $200 to do at East Coast Customz in cambridge , i was jst wondering if it would be worth it

$200 WTF!!! why don't you buy the vinyl and do it yourself? That would save you so much money! Thats way too much IMO to have that done. I'd do it myself for a 1/4 of that price.

You could probably get a whole new set of wheels for that price. Way to effing expensive.

I had this car in 2000 - 2001 before the telecom crash. Lost my job and sold the car. It had 16k miles on it when I sold it. I think these pictures were taken at less than 10k. I learned in 2002, that I would never be over leveraged like I was then.... Today, my financial situation is totally reversed. I am absolutely and completely deleveraged. That loss won't ever happen again, God willing.

I did my red pinstripe for $20

go to autozone and buy some red pinstripe for a few bucks and do it yourself

There is a member here who did his Type-S wheels like that. I believe he did them himself.

Kenni, are they painting the pinstripe on or using tape? Even if they're painting it, it seems really expensive. By the way, painting the pinstripe on would definitely last longer.
