i have installed skunk2 lowering springs on my 2005 acura tl. i took for a test drive i heard rattle noise came from the back springs when hit small bums. i thought it was the bum stop, so i took out the springs and cut the bum stop about 2 inches and took for a drive again, still hear that rattling noise. i need a lowering springs expert to help me out please.... thanks.

 

when you installed the completed damper/spring/top hat assembly, did you make sure to pre-load the damper first (using a jack) before tightening the top hats down to the body?

 

yeah i did that, i even used torque wrench to be sure to tight to the right lbs. to all the bolts.
