So my rear has a gap im trying to fill. I test fit hubcentric 15mm spacers with studs. After I installed them and tried to put my tire on the rim, but wouldn't sit flush on the spacer. I found that the OEM studs have the screws on them, but wont clear my holes on the rim. Its like I have to shave off parts of the rim for it to fit. I'm wondering if there is any different type of spacer to put on my car without it having that problem. I need about 12-15mm for the gap to be smaller. I'm using a 5mm since I had couple laying around, but that definitely doesn't satisfy my taste. I tried to use the 15mm that I had with a 5mm (20mm) that fit and the rim went on perfectly fine. UNTIL I took the lowered it off the jack, the backs rub too much I would need to either put more negative camber, or get new spacers. I'm not looking to adjust the camber because I don't want to pay for alignment again.
Don't know the EXACT specs of my tires & rims, but I have the XXR 502 18x7.5 and my tires are not stretched (I know that would have cleared the 20mm spacer if it was stretched
FML)
Any info would be appreciated, thank you!!!
Also what is the biggest MM spacer that I could use safely without a hub centric type? Like the biggest MM i could get without the stud in the spacer.

I had the same issue with my 20mm type 2 spacers. I put longer studs on the car and knocked the studs out of the spacers and used my type 2 spacers as type 1 (without studs). I am running 15mm spacers on the front and 20 mm on the rear. You can run 20mm on the rear, but you will need to roll the fenders.
