Questions about wheels on stock suspension

So I have a 2008 Base TL and I’ve been wanting to change my wheels out because the stock ones are all have curb rash from the previous owner. I kinda don’t wanna do any suspension upgrades but will if I have to. I’m looking at some avid wheels with the stock specs of 17X8 5x114.3 but the offset is 35 and not the stock 45. Will this 10 difference in the offset require any modification like fenders, suspension etc.

10mm is like 3/8"

short answer is no...there are no mods needed.

But this clearance is something you can check yourself.

No problem running an 8" deep wheel with 35 offset, that's what I currently have for my summer wheels on my TL-S (18" wheels though), and I also have 5mm spacers, so I have a actual offset of 30.
