Questions about Spacers...

I had a few questions about adding spacers to my TL. I bought 18 inch Work CR Kai rims on Black but they came with 48 offset which is not really my taste but I really liked the rims, so settled for them. I also have a set of Work XD9's with 45 offset (18x8) but I prefer the CR Kai's over the XD9, so need some info about spacers.

I haven't dropped my car as of yet, but will put on Tein Super Street during the Summer. Not going to slam it but a decent drop shall do fine, so basically questions about adding the spacers to the car is. What sizes should I opt for? I dont want to roll my fenders and I just want the wheels flush with the car's layout. Will the spacers have any rubbing issues or add any type of weird noises at all? 5mm is too small and will not really make much of a difference as I heard, 10mm might be a good choice right?

What do you folks recommend? I am attaching some poor photos of the wheels for now, so yeah do let me know guys. And also which brand should I opt for?

I'm dropped 1.5" and I have 15mm spacers in the back but on stock wheels and I can pull off 20mm easy without rubbing. I think you should go with 15mm at least or maybe even 20mm, or they will look sunken in especially if you don't get a camber kit.

Drop it first. Get a camber kit that can get rid of all your camber so it will make you a bit more flush after you drop it. Then you can decide on what kind of spacers you want. I can say though that you can easily fit 25mm spacer in the rear and have no rubbing. go with a 235/40 for your tire or more.. depends on your taste of how much rubber. higher series will fill a bit of your wheel gap but will obviously not be beneficial in other departments...

Also, since you're in an area with snow... it may be a bad idea to drop your car on coilovers. Snow/salt + coilovers = bad news

18x7.5 +48

Just buy new wheels, you are going to need like 25mm spacers to make those flush.

thanks guys. I have planned to go for the A-spec suspension setup and then try out spacers. Maybe that will help me judge how much the size of the spacers should be. I dont need the wheels sticking out of the car as long as its in-line with the fenders, its all good.

Lastly, do you folks recommend the A-specs or TEIN Super Street Coil-overs or H&R? I don't want a big drop, I am just dropping the car for better handling purposes.
