I really enjoy S-Techs, the drop is perfect
But if you get S-Techs because they will lower the car more than 1 inch its recommended to get aftermarket shocks like koni yellows and you will need a camber kit

Koni's are ~$600 for a full set of 4. Installation extra or DIY.
If you get the Pro-Kit and go to coil-overs later, you can sell the springs in the Black Market and get part of your $$ back.
Lots of springs out there. Depends on what drop you want and how aggresive a ride you want.
Eibach
Tien (2 versions)
H&R (2 versions)
Comptech (similar to Eibach)
Skunk2
Nuespeed
From what I've read Eibach, Tein, Comptech and H&R are the most popular.

The conventional wisdom is that you'll wear the stock shocks faster if you do a drop with springs only. For the same srping, different manufacturer/distributor fitment guides provide differing informaiton (some say you DO need a camber kit and/or shock upgrade; some say you MAY need a camber kit and/or shock upgrade; some imply you DON'T need a camber kit and/or shock upgrade). Generally, the greater the drop, the greater the liklihood of premature wear.

off road use only is a legal disclainer just like aftermarket fog lights
The Tein SS are not stiff unless you set them at 16.
I run 8 for normal driving and 4 for OE soft type,-wife comfort driving
The SS are considered ~the adjustable a=spec shock~
IMO nothing beats being able to adjust the ride in moments
