Question about tires for aspec rims

I have aspecs, and need tires for them. I have found Goodyear Eagle f1 all seasons and yokohama sdrives summer tires.

What are some of the benefits of getting each?

Can i use the all season with aspecs in the winter?

Obviously i cant use the yokos in the winter.

Does one look better than the other?

Im Running Goodyears, Year Around, But I Live In Va So Very Mild Winters, Depends Were U Live To Make That Call. Besides If It Gets That Bad We Dont Drive The Acura. There Are Plenty Of Pictures Posted To See How They Would Look With Those Wheels.

right now i have pirelli p-zero nero m&s on my aspecs and i run them year round, but i think i will probably go for a winter tire/rim change when the warm months are over. they are not bad when it is snowing, but if it gets too deep i find my self sliding towards a curb instead of moving forward. it may be the tires, i hear the goodyears are better in the winter, but i dont want to have to miss any work like this season because i cant get through the deeper snow. btw, i live in michigan and this year we had record snow falls.

for the most part you should be ok with all seasons, but for me i am going to go with a winter/all season mix.

in general though, i have been very happy with my tires, and i have 32k miles on them and they are still going strong.

If you live anywhere that gets signifigant snowfall with freezing temps, I would highly recommend going with dedicated snow tires (i.e Michelin X-Ice, Continental ContiWinters, etc)in the Winter. Then run a UHP AS or Summer tire in the warm months.

I'm running a set of Yokohama Avid W4s UHP AS in the Summer on A-Specs and Michelin snows on my Type S wheels in the winter....I hate black steel stockies!

I dont know...I just put sumitomo htr z iii tires the new ones that came out and they are awesome. rated at 300 tread wear and only costed 189 per tire on my 19s...19x8.5 tire size 245/35/19. look it up on tirerack.com, they tested them against re050a pole positions and got a better rating, better ride, tread life, more comfortable, and a lot cheaper. i only had them on for about 1k miles, but they seem really nice. quiet, but i havent driven them hard yet because im still in my break in period...only 1.2k on my type s...=)

I've got the Sumi's mounted on my A-spec's and they are as advertised.

anyone use the sumitomo htr+ all season at $92.00 a pop? Are these too cheap to use? Or will they do the job?
