PZero Nero M&S Review
I had a set of PZeros installed and road force balanced this past weekend. I drive an 04 TL/NBP/AT. I feel like I'm driving a new car. The ride is smooth, quiet as the EL 42s, no vibrations and they stick like glue. It was raining on Sunday in South Florida, I took the TL on the highway and I was flying up and down the twisting on/off ramps, the PZeros really stuck to the wet road, what a difference! I bought the tires at Tirerack.com, I saved $202 over the best local price to install/balance the tires. The TL now drives like I thought it would the day I bought it. Check out the PZeros if you are considering replacing your tires.

I just didn't dig the tread ... doesn't look as mean as some others ...but the important thing is that they work. Notice any tramlining?

I got a bubble in the sidewall of one of mine today from a pothole. I've got an additional tire road hazard warranty so it will be covered but hopefully it won't pop before I get it replaced.

Have you guys had any flatspotting with the PZero Nero M&S's?
I have heard people experience tramlining with these tires on certain roads.
I have the LSZ's which flatspot just as bad as the EL42's, I did notice when the were new they seemed to tramline but seems after awhile to get better.

Hey mrsteve, did you drive around with those in the snow last Monday? If so, how were they? Just curious since I live not far from you. (I've left the EL42s on mine and they were fine in the unplowed express lanes on I-395....just thinking for down the road when the time comes.)

Thanks for the review. I am also ready to get a set of P Zero Nero. Where did you have them installed? Is the Road Force a Hunter balancing machine? I am looking for a good installer who will not scratch up my wheels.

Toyo's Proxes 4> PZero Nero
Guys-
If you want the BEST tires for your TL, the answer is ........ Toyo 18 Proxes. I just switched out my PZero's for the Proxes 4 and ...... what a difference!! Directional tread makes a huge difference!! The Proxes tread design is superior to the PZero's and they are quieter and they handle, I think, better!! I paid $25.00 more per tire for the Proxes but they are well worth it. Try it, you'll like it!!

Do you have any flatspotting with the Proxes 4's? From what I have read from others comments they don't seem to flatspot. Get mixed reviews on the PZero's, some say no flatspotting and others have flatspotting.

1010Tires has them for $156, which is actually cheaper than the Pirelli's, they are also the highest rated tire for the TL (17") of any of the ones they list. I've been strongly considering the Pirelli's, it might be time to look into the Toyo's. Where did you get yours?

Edgeracing.com has them for $108.00 each.

Toyo Tires - Internet vs. Retail
I paid $187 per tire from Les Schwab. I'm a "service" guy and I love how LS takes care of you. I brought in a couple of quotes from the internet and they did not charge me for lugs, mounting and balancing. Sure, I could have paid less from the internet but if something goes wrong with the tires I will always be taken care of. With an internet purchase .......
