Purchased new 255/40/18 Tires

I put new YOKOHAMA ADVAN SPORT 255/40/18 tires on my NBP 2005 TL full A-SPEC 6spd with Navi today. I cannot get over how much quieter and less rough riding they are than the AVS ES 100 235/40/18 tires that I previously had on my car. Michigan roads and interstates are the worst and these tires really make a difference. They come stock on the Bentley GT so I think that they are good enough for my TL. I also love the way they look and fill up the wheel well without the least bit of rubbing. I wonder why the TL A-SPEC does not come stock with this size tires or at least the 245/40/18. Someday I will learn how to post a picture.

Does the car feel more sluggish of the line cuz of the increase in diameter?

And ..

I do not feel any performance decrease or sluggishness after adding the wider tires. If anything the car feels more responsive to me especially taking winding on-ramps. This is a higher performance tire than the AVS ES100 tires and it shows. The only downside is the 180 treadwear instead of 280 for the ES 100's. Well worth the change in tire and size as far as I am concerned.
