I've got 245/45/17 Toyo Proxes 4 on my TL and just turned 30K on them. I loved the tire and relied on all the great minds here to help me make that choice a few years back . They seem to have increased in noise quite a bit over the life of them and even a low hum (correctly inflated pressure) as low speeds. May try a new tire (quiter) when I replace them, but will get a quote on them again for price for sure.

Quick question.. What did you get out of your Proxes 4 (i know driving style and conditions impact results). Thanks all..

I've got about 20k on mine, and have a good bit of tread left. I'd expect to get 30k-35k out of them.

My only reservation about getting them again is that they are an old tire. In other words, they've been around a long time; it's time for Toyo to come out with something new. They've come out with a new summer tire, so I'm sure a new all-season will be coming out soon. The other tire I'm looking at is the General Exclaim UHP, although the sidewall flex that has been reported by some users concerns me as I drive rather hard.

However, I'm still two years away from replacing my tires, so my options are open; I'm just keeping tires in the back of my mind, and those are the two I'm currently looking at.
