Progress RSB... Has Arrived!

What's goin on guys? I picked up my progress RSB last night. It's an adjustable RSB that can be changed from 22mm to 24mm. I will post pics of it right now but I will not be putting it on the car for a few weeks. I just had a baby boy last Saturday and my days have been pretty filled. In the meantime I did want to post some pictures for you.

Contents of package:

Polyurethane bushings with bracket:

Instructions:

The RSB:

When they say adjustable they are referring to the two holes at the end of the sway bar where the end link goes. The bar is 24MM no matter what. You can adjust how much the bar oversteers the car, at least on 2 different adjustments, through the holes but not the size.

Yes, you are correct... In theory, the hole that makes the RSB shorter would stiffen the rear end.

I know thread is for the RSB, but for those who are interested in possibly getting the Progress Technology Sport Springs, I have a picture of my car with Progress springs and the 24mm Progress Rear Sway Bar. I think my suspension setup is sweet. Here's a link to my car on the progressauto.com site.

He clearly states in the thread that he reused the 22mm greasable energy suspension bushings... which are why his bushings are red.

Rodney, the proper fitting 24mm bushing from energy suspension is 5160.

Kennedy... have you tried those bushings from energy suspension 5160???

I purchased them and they look like they were made for a HUGE SUV... the brackets & bushings are HUGE... I didn't even attempt to make them fit... you'll see when you receive them...

twigglius, you're welcome. Also thanks for continuing to add value to this thread with your sarcasm...

Rodney, dunno yet, just ordered... but according to the Energy Suspensions catalog (and like Leedog posted), the 5158 (22mm) and the 5160 (24mm) share same greasable bracket... and since we know the 5158 will fit, there's not reason the 5160 shouldn't.

Either thier page is wrong, or you got the wrong part. The 27mm and up brackets are huge... again, as seen here:

I'm going to have to check... it just looked huge & I just left the bushings home... I got the exact part number you mentioned above from summitracing.com... when I find time... I'll do a test fit for comparison...

Kennedy... I checked yesterday and the bushings & brackets I received were the 5160 and they are the same as the 5158, in terms of bracket dimensions... so I will be swapping out the actual bushings from the 5158 to 5160 because I already have the modifidied bracket done... Thank you for pointing it out to me...
