Progress 24mm Rear Sway Bar Help

Hi all,
I just purchased a Progress RSB for my 07 TL Type S. I removed the factory bar, and when trying to install the new bar, it seems literally impossible to line up the new bar with the old mounting points. I have no idea what to do, and am at my end. Does anyone know if I have to drill, and if so, where? Because the brackets are too large to fit across the frame if i were to drill into that. The installation instructions said nothing about this.
Yes, i did buy the right part. (62.0110) Thank you for any advice you may have.

I spent an hour on the phone with two reps from Progress. They checked the SVU on the bar, and it was a confirmed match. I don't know why it won't fit. Essentially, either the rear subframe blocks the bar from reaching the mounts, but it's close enough to connect to the end links, OR you can orient it so that the bar connects to the mounting point, but then what happens is the bar is facing downwards and you cant reach the end links. It's one or the other. I need help, bad.

i dont remember having any issues at all, yet again, I have a 2006.
I reused the stock mounting point with the bigger bushings to accompany the bigger bar.

Yeah, the reps told me to use the factory mounting points, but I've spent so much time twisting and turning it different ways it seems hopeless. Did you have to by chance disassemble anything else under the car in order to maneuver the bar into the right position? I really hope it's user error, because if the bar genuinely doesn't fit, I'm not sure how that'll be realized if the reps arguably think that it absolutely fits.

i've had the progress bar on my 08 type s for 11 years now. i had no issues mounting and you should not have to drill any holes. it's a beast to wrestle into place but the holes should all line up easily. please put up some pics so we can better help you.

@90foxnotch don't even hesitate, buy it asap. the benefits are very noticeable

Same here. On an ‘04 auto. No issues besides getting her in there. Set to stiff setting, and never looked back.

Figured it out a couple days later.. The problem was that I was overthinking it and overloaded with stuff that I just needed a break. My OEM end links were seized so I ended up having to take an angle grinder to the bolts to remove them, so replaced them as well. Ended up taking a day break because work got in the way. Came back, figured it out immediately.
Aside from the hiccups, I must say that the cornering has definitely improved. Thanks for everyone's input. 👍🏼
